Marked

Seeing the popularity of tattoos these days, I can’t help but wonder how many folks regret those decisions?  I once worked with a guy who always wore fully buttoned, long-sleeve collared shirts.  He explained that he used to be a tattoo artist, and had covered his arms and shoulders in tattoos.  Twenty years ago it was still considered rather unprofessional to have tattoos in certain vocations, so he kept himself covered at all times.  He was a very gifted teacher and a technical genius – it was just a shame that he had to cover himself in the midst of hot Arizona summers!

Dealing with regrets about tattoos and desires to remove them is hardly a new phenomena, though.  Lots of different approaches have worked (more or less) over the years.  I can’t say that any of them sound very appealing, however!
