Adding Up

If you’re looking for good advice in life, you could do much worse than this little tidbit about the importance of making your bed each day.

In a world where we encourage our children to aspire to greatness, the mundane, boring, ordinary routine of day-to-day life can take a back seat.  But you don’t achieve great things in life without some sort of day-to-day order.  Teaching children to aim for the stars while despising where they currently stand is counter-productive, because if you can’t respect where you are now, what you are able to do or must do today in order to make it to tomorrow, the stars are going to be of little interest to you should you reach them.
